Do you have some pending questions?

Here are some of the most common questions we've been asked before.

Let's get crafting
  • Why is the cost of my PPC increasing?

The most common reason for an increasing PPC value is high competition. Your competitors will be striving to craft and optimize the same keywords and PPC strategies as you which could result in the higher PPC costs.

  • How much should I budget for PPC?

The ideal cost will vary depending on your business, industry, and what your competitors are doing. Generally, we recommend a minimum of $300 per month in ad spend alone which amounts to almost $10 per day in average daily spend. At SiteCrafter Labs, we charge additional fees per platform and campaign that we run ads on.

  • How long should I run my ad campaigns?

We recommend running your ad campaigns for a minimum of 3 months to start getting some results. At SiteCrafter Labs, we use the first two months for initial tests and data collection. We then use that data to make tweaks and adjustments to improve your ad campaigns.

  • What is PPC?

PPC is an abbreviation for “Pay Per Click”. This simply means that when you run ad campaigns for your web pages on a search engine like Google, you will pay only when someone clicks on the link that you are promoting. You can set your budget for a month and you will pay up to that set value.

  • How is PPC different from SEO?

PPC is paid advertising which requires a regular budget and funding but it can bring you quick results (ex. more visitors to your website). SEO on the other hand requires an initial investment but does not require regular funding but it takes longer to see results. At SiteCrafter Labs, we use PPC on new websites especially to help increase the number of visitors to the website in the short term. As SEO comes into play over a few months or years, PPC budgeting can be reduced. Each website is unique and the strategy we use will vary depending on various factors.
